Kelcie Makes Patterns is a happy accident. Inspired by a need to fill time after graduating college, I started this website as a way to keep busy, stay focused, and express my creative side. In 2017, I began learning surface pattern design after seeing a video on Skillshare. I started using Adobe Illustrator every day and wanted to share what I was figuring out about Adobe Illustrator so other people who want to develop their Adobe Illustrator skills could follow along in my journey. About a year after starting this website, I opened an online shop, posting my first product to Creative Market in 2018. I now have 48 products in my shop. In the next few years, I am hoping to grow my shop and website and I look forward to taking you along for the ride.
